Personalized Gifts

We are readying our balikabayan box to be sent to my family in Philippines. I have already bought some things for every one of them except the little kids. Although the kids won't mind receiving anything, I still want to send them something special. I am looking for unique ideas for gifts for kids. Those kids are really special to me and I want them to receive something special. I think of sending them some personalized story books and personalized backpacks. I am sure that they will be very excited to receive something with their names on it. What do you think?

Valentine Gifts

It is amazing how time flies. Can you believe that January is almost at the end? This just means that valentines is around the corner. Some couples plan their valentines day, we don't! We don't even like to dine out on that day because the restaurant is always crowded. I always get flowers on that day though. A bouquet of fresh flowers is enough for me during valentines. I don't like chocolates so I already told my husband years ago not to buy me chocolates.

Birthday Gift for my Mom

Next month, my mom will be celebrating her birthday. Another year whom she will celebrate without us by her side. I want to be there, if only I could. The distance is just too far that's why I can't be there on every special occasion that she will celebrate. Because it is her special day I want to buy something nice for her. I think that one of those tanzanite rings will be perfect. My mom likes jewelries and she is fascinated with diamonds too. The price is quite higher than what I will usually spend but for my mom, I will gladly do it. She deserves it!

We have a family friend who loves the outdoor. He always brings his family for camping and hiking. They always have outdoor fun and adventure. When Andrea will be old enough for camping we will surely join them on one of their camping trips.
