Fried Ham

I baked some ham and I got some leftover. Frying sliced ham is a good way to utilize left over hams. Fried ham is a common breakfast dish for Filipinos like me.

Kentucky Smoked Ham

Last week, I cooked a 6lb smoked ham. It was very easy to cook as you just need to follow the instructions in it.

The ham was AWESOME. This is the best ham I ever had. Can you believe that we ate this for 3 straight days and we didn't get tired of it? That's how good this ham is....

This ham is a little bit pricey than the regular ones but it is worth it. The taste is incomparable. We plan to buy another one in a month or so.

Baked 20lbs Ham

We bought a 20lbs ham at Publix. It was on sale for $0.49/lb. Knowing it is a good buy, we couldn't resist. We put it in the freezer. During my birthday party, I decided to cook it. I know a while back I posted a baked ham recipe but I just couldn't help but post this BIG Ham.

Ingredients:
ham
1 can pineapple slices

Directions:

Thaw the ham in the refrigerator. Since the ham is 20lbs it took me 4 days to thaw it. Remove from the packaging. Put in a disposable roast pan. Stick the pineapple slices using toothpick. Drizzle the pine apple juice. Cover with foil. Baked at 300F. Baste at least every 30minutes. (With this 20lbs ham, it took me 6 hours to cook it.)

Carve and serve.

Baked Ham

Baked ham is good especially when you plan on not cooking for two days. Usually ham is always sold in a big chunk. We usually eat our ham with baked sweet potato or baked potato. After that, we enjoy making ham sandwiches or just eat a slice or two as a snack on.

Baking ham needs a lot of time. You have to bake it slow and baste it as often as you want to avoid from burning.

Ingredients:
Ham
1 can Pineapple Chunks
Cloves

Directions:
Put ham in a shallow pan. Seasoned with cloves. Add pineapple chunks. Stick some of the pineapples with toothpick on the ham. Baked at 275F for 4 hours. Baste as often as possible. Remove from the pan and remove the toothpick and pineapples. Cool for few minutes. Sliced and serve.
This is how the ham looks like before I baked it
